The Canadian Olympic Committee (“COC”) is a national, private, not-for-profit organization committed to transforming Canada through the power of sport. Its mission is to lead the achievement of the Canadian Olympic Team’s (“COT”) podium success and to advance the Olympic values in Canada. It is responsible for all aspects of Canada’s involvement in the Olympic Movement, including Canada’s participation in the Olympic, Youth Olympic and Pan American Games and a wide variety of programs that promote the Olympic Movement in Canada.
The Canadian Olympic Foundation (“COF”) is a national registered charity whose mission is to generate support to meet the technical, scientific, medical and coaching needs of Canada’s high performance sport system and assist Canada’s athletes in becoming ambassadors for sport, healthy living and the pursuit of excellence across the nation.

The COC and COF may use social media as an extension of its presence on the web. Social media accounts of the COC and COF are public and are not hosted on COC/COF servers. From time to time, the COC and/or the COF may run co-sponsored promotional contests. If you provide a completed contest registration form to any of our co-sponsored contest, we may disclose your name, address and email address to the applicable co-sponsor. Also, activities of contest participants may be photographed, distributed and used by the COC and the COF for promotional purposes in any medium or form and without any compensation.

You consent that in some instances, the COC may authorize individuals from your National Sport Organization to collect, input, access, and/or provide to the COC via the Bridge online portal certain personal information for the purposes of ensuring that appropriate timelines are met, accurate and up-to-date information is provided, travel information is complete, information required for registration and accreditation is collected and provided to ensure your participation to applicable Games managed by COC.
You consent that the COC may share with its authorized travel providers, accommodation suppliers certain personal information on the Bridge online portal for the purposes of making your travel and accommodation arrangements in relation to participation at applicable Games managed by the COC.
You consent that the COC may share certain personal information on the Bridge online portal with applicable Games organizations (e.g. IOC/Pan Am Sport Organization, OCOG) and government authorities (Canada, host country of the Games) to facilitate registration, accreditation, and participation at the applicable Games and any other use related, or incidental to the foregoing purposes.
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation
The COC and COF are committed to meet the requirements of Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, including through any commercial electronic messages sent by the COC and/or the COF to you and/or your friend. You may “Unsubscribe” of receiving such any applicable communications from the COC and/or COF at any time and your electronic address will be removed from our databases.
